When Dipper and Mabel Pines get sent to their great-uncle Stan's shop in Gravity Falls, Oregon for the summer, they think it will be boring. But when Dipper finds a strange journal in the woods, they learn about some strange secrets about the town. Welcome to Gravity Falls. Just North of Normal, West of Wierd, East of Eerie, and South of Psycho!

CHARACTERS DESCRIPTION

DIPPER

Dipper Pines is the protagonist of the animated series, Gravity Falls. He is the younger twin brother of Mabel Pines by five minutes. He is a curious, clever, and inventive 12-year-old(13 by the end of the series).With a blue and white hat with a pine tree, brown hair, orange shirt, and a navy vest. He is always ready for mystery. His intense wit and compassion always seems to make a way for him.

MABEL

Mabel Pines is the deuteragonist of the series. She is a 12-year-old girl spending the summer with her Great Uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, where she and her brother frequently encounter the supernatural. She takes a much less serious approach to life than her twin brother, as she navigates her way around odd and new surroundings. Don't let that cute smile and that rainbow on her pink sweater deceive you. She can be really harsh sometimes.

UNCLE STAN

Stanley Pines, also known as Grunkle Stan, and is Dipper and Mabel Pine's great uncle and summer guardian. After many years of crime and infamy, he has taken up residence in the remote town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, where he exploits local lore and the gullibility of the dumbest people of the world to finance himself by rubbing a dubious tourist trap known as the Mystery Shack. He is always in a jet black suit or just his vest and shorts. He always carries a grumpy look on his face and a stick with a magic 8 ball stuck on one of its ends.

MYSTERY SHACK

The Mystery Shack is a tourist trap located in Gravity Falls which overcharges unlucky tourists. It is the main house which is run by Uncle Stan and is the main residence for Dipper and Mabel throughout the series. Wendy and Soos are the employees of the Mystery Shack. It is a wooden house with an attic and a roof and contains a lot of mysterious items that cause a lot of trouble along the series.

SOOS

Jesus Soos is a cute and puffy man who is an employee at the Mystery Shack. He was born in Gravity Falls. He is an awkward young man and often tags along with Dipper and Mabel on their adventures. He has a very goofy nature and considered really cool by Dipper. Soos acts like a big brother towards Dipper and Mabel.

WENDY

Wendy is the cool, hip local girl that Dipper has a huge crush on. She's clever, friendly and aloof in a way that works for her. Wendy is a mellow, down-to-Earth, tomboyish, fun-loving, and slightly lethargic teen. She is a part-time worker at the Mystery Shack. She generally takes a positive outlook, is nearly always friendly, and is barely seen being moody or cranky.
